Our identity and sense of purpose often changes throughout the various stages of life, and navigating those transitions is no easy task. ACT3 helps people discover how their identity and calling may take shape in the 3rd stage of life.

What is a 3rd Stager?

3rd Stagers are marked by transitions in career, family dynamics, friendships, zip codes, and other aspects of life. Perhaps the most pervasive markers are questions: Who am I now? What is my purpose? How can I make these next years of my life count?

3rd Stagers have lived a full life and many have conquered some titanic challenges. The 3rd stage of life is a time to celebrate where we have been and to turn our eyes toward the next mountain--the next challenge. Now is the time to discover the exciting path to the purpose for which we are longing.

ACT3 Discovery Growth Groups

ACT3 will help you discover your next steps during a seven-week small group learning experience called a Discovery Growth Group. Over the course of the seven weeks, participants explore six personal attributes representing God’s handiwork in their life: their Journey, Strengths, Spiritual Gifts, Passions, the key People throughout their life, and Resources. This aggregate forms your "Calling Star" and it is used to help participants discover opportunities to serve in alignment with their calling.

During week 6 of the Discovery Growth Group, participants are connected with an ACT3 coach whose purpose is to help them use their Calling Star to identify specific opportunities that might be a fit. Serving opportunities may be:

Within their home church on established teams
Within their home church in unique roles exclusive to their skill set
Outside their home church with partner ministries of their church
Outside their home church in other ACT3 vetted ministries or community service organizations

All alumni of ACT3 will soon be invited to experience continued community beyond the seven-week growth group. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!
